Heading to Troup County today, which just received a $560 million investment from Hyundai Transys to expand its manufacturing capabilities in West Point.

320 jobs will be created in Troup County because of pro-growth economic policies.

This morning, I reported to jury duty!

Jury service is a civic responsibility and a powerful reminder of the virtue of our system of justice.

Enshrined in our Constitution, the right to a trial by a jury of our peers is a core pillar of the rule of law our Founders established.

Thank you to the dedicated civil servants and the Clerks of Courts across our Congressional District for so honorably serving our communities!

The 2026 IFCPF Cerebral Palsy World Cup kicked off today at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayette County!

Our U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy team defeated Canada, 7-0, in the opening match.

I was honored to greet the players, officials, and supporters who traveled from across the world to our part of Georgia, and I am especially proud of Harris County native Jacob Crumbley, a starter for our national team, for his incredible performance.

I hope this tournament inspires every American with cerebral palsy and the families and caregivers who support them!

Yesterday, I visited the incredible doctors, nurses, and healthcare administrators at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare in Columbus. Since opening its doors in 1950, St. Francis has been a cornerstone of the Chattahoochee Valley, with more than 2,500 associates and 300 physicians providing critical care to families across West Georgia.

St. Francis is home to the only open-heart surgery program in Columbus, and the Chattahoochee Valley is very proud of its distinction as the first Purple Heart Hospital in Georgia. I am honored to represent St. Francis and the incredible people of Columbus in Congress, and I look forward to continuing our partnership to improve the lives of families across our Congressional District.

Today, Coweta County’s oldest veteran, Harvey Wortham, celebrates his 98th birthday!

Last month, I honored Harvey Wortham’s service and wished him a Happy Birthday from the Floor of the United States House of Representatives.

A lifelong resident of Coweta County, Mr. Wortham enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 and served in Mannheim, Germany, before being honorably discharged as a Specialist Third Class.

He returned home to Coweta County, where he and his beloved late wife of 63 years, Betty, raised three daughters and were blessed with five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Happy 98th birthday, Specialist Wortham, and thank you for your service to our Country!

Yesterday, I was honored to visit LaGrange College to deliver an initial $1.88 million federal investment in STEM education and workforce development at LaGrange College. This funding will grow the Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree to prepare students for skills-based careers across our part of Georgia.

Earlier this year, I brought the U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to our Congressional District to discuss the need for additional investment in workforce development, and I am grateful for her support of LaGrange College’s 21st Century Workforce Readiness Program.

I am honored to welcome my friend, Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, to Harris County — the 10th visit to our district by a Member of President Trump’s Cabinet over the past two years.

After years of bureaucratic backlogs and paperwork errors, I am proud to deliver the Soldier’s Medal to my constituent, Charles “Russ” Berry, a former Specialist in the United States Army.

Specialist Berry honorably served our nation and earned this distinguished recognition for his bravery and heroism. Yet, because of clerical errors, he was unable to receive the Soldier’s Medal he previously earned.

My office worked closely with Specialist Berry’s wonderful family, Lieutenant Colonel James Wright, and the United States Army’s legislative liaisons to correct the record and ensure this long-overdue honor was delivered.

May Specialist Berry’s selfless service be an example for Georgians across our Congressional District!

A clerical error kept Specialist Charles “Russ” Berry from receiving the honor he earned in 1970. His family was there when the record was finally corrected.
