🏡 2026 PROPERTY TAX BILLS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! 🏡

The 2026 Forsyth County property tax bills are now available online and are scheduled to be mailed at the end of this week.

📅 2026 PROPERTY TAX DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 15, 2026

Since November 15th falls on a Sunday, payments received on Monday, November 16th will be accepted without interest fees.

💰 OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

✔️ Partial payments are accepted and can be made using any available payment method.

🏦 Mortgage Escrow: Many mortgage companies pay property taxes through escrow. Please check with your lender before making a payment to avoid duplicate payment.

🏠 Homeowner Tax Relief Grant (HTRG):
For 2026, the State of Georgia has applied the Homeowner Tax Relief Grant, providing property tax relief to qualifying homeowners. This is separate from other homestead exemptions and is reflected as a reduction on eligible property tax bills.

Standard Exemption: Up to $409.32 in relief
Senior Exemption: Up to $273.74 in relief

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our friend and leader, Tax Commissioner Matthew Ledbetter. Matthew’s dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to both our office and the people we serve leaves a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was more than a leader; he was a friend and someone who genuinely cared about others.

We ask that you keep Matthew’s family, friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
