Being "lost" is dangerous, even for the rescuers. In thick terrain, we equip our responders with high-sensitivity GPS equipment to ensure they know exactly where they are—and exactly where they’ve been. Your contributions buy the hardware that brings our teams home safely after every mission.

Do you want a way to help out but don’t have the funds or the time to contribute? You can still play a vital role in our mission just by sharing your space. At ATSAR, we are always looking to connect with private landowners or corporations who might be willing to let our search and rescue dogs use their property for training sessions. Finding properties that meet our acreage requirements is a key part of our long-term preparation, and your land could provide the perfect environment for our teams to practice. We are fully insured and always provide proof of liability coverage for your peace of mind. Our team has a deep respect for the land and we make it a priority to leave every property in the same condition as when we arrived. We also maintain a clear usage schedule and can provide references from other landowners we have worked with. From the moment a handler selects and begins training their prospect, they take on the responsibility of maintaining that dog’s peak physical and mental readiness for years of grueling service. After a career spent navigating punishing environments and pushing through physical exhaustion, these K9s transition into a well-earned retirement. Having been by their handler's side through every mission, they remain there for life—retiring from the field to the comfort of the home they’ve always known.
