My name is Adrienne Ferguson and I was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus (Water on the Brain) when I was six (6) years old. I had to spend months in the hospital. There were times when I had to stay in my bed, because I was too sick to get up but I wanted to play with the other children so bad. My Publisher Mr. Tony Rose once asked me why did I write my book and this is my answer:
I wrote my book, because I want children who are living with Hydrocephalus to see that we can still live normal lives and go on to do phenomenal things. Yes, Hydrocephalus is our chronic condition, but it’s also our super powers & I wear my cape proudly!!!

Late Post 😢 I’m so sorry!!!
This past Friday, the last of the doll & book donations were hand delivered to the wonderful babies at Neurology Department!! This hospital is extremely special to me, because this was my hospital as a child, before I aged out and had to transfer over to Emory…AND my Neurologist, Dr. Holt, is still at the hospital…So dope right!!! I’m planning to visit him very soon.
Again, I can’t thank you all enough for these generous donations and I’m 1000% sure that these babies thank you also…You guys are heaven sent 😘😘😘
