🏫 Building Better Schools to Support Brighter Futures!

Atlantic City Public Schools is making major strides in creating modern, welcoming spaces for students, educators and the entire community.

Over the summer, $34 million in upgrades were completed across all 11 public schools, with improvements tailored to each building’s needs (video in comments). From renovated classrooms, restrooms and gymnasiums to new HVAC systems, roofs and state-of-the-art e-gaming facilities at select schools, these improvements are helping create better environments for learning and growth.

And the district also just broke ground on a new $27.2 million administration building at New Jersey and Arctic avenues (video below). The three-story facility will bring key district operations together under one roof and provide a dedicated space for Board of Education meetings.

These projects reflect a commitment to supporting our students, strengthening our schools and building a brighter future for Atlantic City 🎓💙

🌄 Atlantic City is always looking for ways to improve and beautify our neighborhoods, and historic Gardner’s Basin is the latest example of that commitment!

The City broke ground on a $2.3 Million, grant-funded project that will bring a brand-new public comfort station, accessible restrooms, family facilities, showers for boaters, enhanced landscaping, new sidewalks, curbing and paving to the area. These upgrades build on years of improvements at Gardner’s Basin, making it an even more welcoming destination for residents and visitors to enjoy the waterfront, explore local attractions and support area businesses 🌊

🏈 🖤 🩶 The newly renovated Dolphins Field is officially open, and this grand reopening was about so much more than a new playing surface. It was about community, legacy and creating opportunities for Atlantic City’s youth 🙌

For those who once called Dolphins Field home, seeing today’s players take the field was a powerful reminder of just how special this organization and facility have been to Atlantic City.

The renovated field is another example of Atlantic City investing in its community and its youth, a priority for Mayor Small alongside continued investments that support our seniors.

Now, the Dolphins have a modern, upgraded home where young athletes can compete, grow and make memories of their own!
