Today, we had the absolute privilege to witness our first adoption of 2026!! The Grayson-Padgett family started this placement with these sweet brothers last July and have been awaiting this day since. Happy trails!

Today is the first day of fall! And while it is not cool outside (yet!), we have some pretty cool families joining us for our next Pre-Service Training next month!

Today is National Care for Kids Day! While this day only became a recognized day 5 years ago, we have been caring for kids here at the Settlement Home for Children since 1916! Our mission has been to promote healing and growth in children, young adults, and families by providing that continuum of care, support, and resources.
