We spent the day volunteering on behalf of Siduslink's Animal Welfare Day. This morning we helped rebuild the serval and wolf habitats laying crushed granite at the Austin Zoo. This afternoon we helped clean and reorganize the cat shelters at Thundering Paws in Dripping Springs. Both programs rescue animals. The zoo has 350 species of rescued animals, many of which are wild cats. Thundering paws has 75 rescued cats, some bunnies and a couple of dogs. Thank you to SGA and Circle K International volunteers and the other students from Austin Community College who assisted with volunteering today! You are amazing people, we could not have done this without you! Thank you for making our first event a huge success! We look forward to working with you more in the future! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We will be unable to provide live music at this weekends events due to the nature of the projects and the location however we hope to have some music playing. We plan to have music at future events too! You are also welcome to check out my band Acoustalyn, at Star Company in Round Rock Saturday night. -Kristin
