Today we remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to honor the heroes who never came home and the families who carry their legacy forward.
May we never forget their sacrifice.
God bless our fallen heroes and the United States of America.

House District 91 Businesses — this is something you should know 👇
If you hire someone with a prior felony conviction, your business may qualify for a federal tax credit of up to $2,400 per employee through the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC).
That’s real money back to your business for doing something many companies are hesitant to do.
But it gets even better…
Through the Texas Workforce Commission, you can also receive a FREE fidelity bond (insurance) for the first 6 months. This protects your business against theft, fraud, or dishonesty — meaning you take on little to no risk when giving someone a second chance.
âś” Up to $2,400 in tax credits
âś” Free insurance protection for 6 months
âś” No cost to participate
âś” Quick and easy process
This is a true win-win:
– Businesses get financial incentives and protection
– Individuals get a second chance to work and contribute
– Our communities get stronger
The reality is most employers have never even heard of this program — but it’s available right now across Texas.
If you’re interested, reach out to your local Workforce Solutions office or the Texas Workforce Commission to get started.
Let’s support businesses that are willing to step up, strengthen their workforce, and give people a real opportunity to succeed.

He is risen!
Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair.
Through His sacrifice and resurrection, we are reminded of God’s grace, His mercy, and the promise of eternal life. Let this day be a reminder of the power of faith and the truth of His word.
He is risen indeed. Wishing you a blessed and joyful Easter.

On behalf of the Office of State Representative David Lowe, it was a privilege for Chief of Staff Rosalie Escobedo and TCU intern Hope Huizenga to attend Tarrant County College’s briefing on its proposed Air Traffic Control Program, alongside Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne and representatives from other legislative offices.
If funded, this two-year ATC program would offer exceptional value. Students could train on facilities modeled after the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City and, after passing the FAA exam and being hired, begin their careers with strong earning potential.
TCC is now seeking board approval for grant pursuits, has a Memorandum of Understanding with the FAA, and is working to secure the support needed to launch the first cohort in Spring 2027.
