🎃👻 HALLOWEEN FUN IS HERE, BARABOO! 🚒🍬

Baraboo Fire & EMS is excited to get out into the community over the next few days to celebrate Halloween with our neighbors! We look forward to seeing everyone at these upcoming events:

🚒 Where to Find Us:

October 29: St. Joe's Trunk or Treat — 5:15 PM
October 30: Boo at the Zoo — 4:00–6:00 PM
October 31: Children's Museum Trick or Trot at Sauk Fairground — 9:00–11:00 AM
October 31: Trick-or-Treat at the Fire Station — 4:00–7:00 PM!
Stop by our station on Ash Street for some Halloween fun and candy!

We want to extend a huge thank-you to the Baraboo Fire/EMS Fundraising Association, Baraboo IAFF Local 5429, Baraboo Community Heros, and Downtown Baraboo Inc., who were our candy donors that help make these events possible! Your generosity helps us connect with our community and makes Halloween a little sweeter for our local kids. We appreciate your continued support!

🎃 Halloween Safety Tips

Help make this Halloween fun and safe for everyone:

👻 Be visible: Use reflective clothing, glow sticks, or flashlights so drivers can see you.

🚶 Use sidewalks and crosswalks: Cross at designated crossings, look both ways, and put electronic devices away while walking.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Stay together: Young children should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Older kids should travel in groups and have a planned route.

🍬 Check your treats: Have an adult inspect candy before eating it. Avoid anything unwrapped or showing signs of tampering.

🚗 Drive carefully: Slow down in neighborhoods, watch for children, and stay alert for trick-or-treaters who may dart into the road.

🏠 Choose safe stops: Visit well-lit homes and never enter a stranger’s home or vehicle.

Make the Baraboo Fire & EMS station a stop on your trick-or-treat route! Come show off your costume, pick up your safety duck, and load up on candy!

🐶 Bring your four-legged friends, too! We’ll have a special Halloween snack waiting for them!
