CIDERFEST PARADE – ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

One of Norton’s favorite traditions is almost here! The 2026 C***rFest Parade will take place this Saturday, October 3rd, and we’re looking forward to seeing our community come together for another great C***rFest weekend!

Beginning at approximately 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd, Greenwich Road will be closed between Cleveland-Massillon Road and Easton Road for the C***rFest Parade.

We anticipate the roadway will reopen at approximately 11:00 a.m., once the parade has safely concluded.

We know road closures can be an inconvenience, and we appreciate everyone’s patience. These temporary closures help keep our parade participants, families, spectators, and everyone enjoying the festivities safe.

Come out, enjoy the parade, support our local businesses, and help us kick off another great Norton C***rFest!

If you have any questions about C***r Fest, please contact Norton C***r Festival. We’ll see you along the parade route!

Don’t be alarmed if you saw an increased police presence at Norton Elementary School today at drop off.

Norton Police officers will be on-site while students participated in school bus safety and evacuation drills. These drills give students an opportunity to learn and practice what to do in the event of an emergency involving a school bus.

We’re happy to help keep our students safe and prepared

It’s only a drill — no emergency is occurring.

25 years ago, America was attacked. Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were taken, and our nation was forever changed.

But on that September morning, the world also witnessed the very best of America.

Firefighters climbed the stairs. Police officers ran toward the danger. First responders answered the call. Strangers helped strangers. Americans stood shoulder to shoulder, not divided by politics or differences, but united under one flag.

They showed the world what American courage looks like.

Today, we remember those who never came home. We honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. We remember the families who still carry that loss and all who have sacrificed in defense of our nation in the years since.

May we never forget the lives that were taken.

May we never forget the heroes who ran toward danger.

May we never forget how America stood together.

God Bless the United States of America
