Fellow Bartonville Citizens,

I am disappointed to report that we have had multiple reports of nails being dispersed on residential driveways. This is not harmless. This is a property crime, and it is dangerous and could cause a catastrophic and expensive tire failure.

Unfortunately, this seems to happen during contested elections. If you are a participant of this petty crime, stop before you hurt someone. If you know who is committing this crime, please report them to law enforcement before someone is hurt.

This shouldn’t have to be a request. Please, I ask all political organizations, candidates and supporters to behave in a respectable, civil and honorable fashion. This petty behavior is not representative of Bartonville.
