🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This October, Beardstown Houston Memorial Library is proud to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We stand with those currently fighting breast cancer, celebrate the strength and resilience of survivors, honor the memory of those we’ve lost, and recognize the families, friends, and caregivers who walk alongside their loved ones.

Breast cancer awareness is about more than wearing pink. It’s about education, early detection, supporting one another, and reminding those affected that they are not alone.

Know your family history.
Be aware of changes in your body.
Talk with your healthcare provider about when breast cancer screenings are right for you.
Reach out to someone who may need a little extra love and support.

To everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer, in any way, we see you, we support you and we stand with you.

Together, we can spread awareness, encourage education and support our community.
