Marco Rubio is hands down my top choice to be the next President of the United States! I hope he runs in 2028.

If he does, I’ll be out in full force, ready to support his campaign in any way I can.

This is how you destroy capitalism, discourage investment, and crush entrepreneurship in any civilized country.

This is straight out of the Democratic Socialists of America’s playbook.

ELECTIONS MATTER.

We as a Nation must reject this destructive ideology at the ballot box before it takes hold.

Life is expensive, and the cost of nearly everything keeps going up.

While Bell County families are forced to make tough choices and cut their budgets, the Bell County Appraisal District’s budget continues to grow.

Taxpayers deserve leaders who question spending, demand accountability, and treat our tax dollars with the same care we give our household budgets.

I know we’re all tired of hearing about elections, but they matter. These local decisions affect our wallets, our families, and our future.

We need change and that starts with showing up to vote.

We have to FIGHT for Bell County Tax Dollars! (Paul Stang and Cheyenne Minick)

The Bell County Appraisal District board election is about protecting YOUR tax dollars, regardless of political party.

The board does NOT appraise your property, but it DOES vote on the appraisal district’s budget. That makes accountability and responsible spending essential.

I support Paul Strang, an Army veteran, and Cheyenne Minick, a lawyer and judge, because I believe they will fight for taxpayers and demand accountability.

Republicans, Democrats, and Independents: let’s come together and vote Strang and Minick for the Bell County Appraisal District Board.

Your money. Your voice. Your vote.

The city of Belton has approved substantial housing development, which should help cushion against a sudden decline in student enrollment. But housing growth alone won’t determine the future. Changes in Texas education and the options available to families will also shape enrollment.

That uncertainty is one of the major reasons I opposed adding another $240 million in school bond debt. In my view, taxpayers did the district a financial favor by rejecting most of the proposed borrowing.

I support public schools 100%. We must fully fund them while addressing the problems in Texas’ education system. Supporting public education also means questioning spending and making sure long-term commitments reflect future needs.

Some place all the blame on school districts. I believe responsibility is shared among districts, parents, students, state elected officials, and the State of Texas. Everyone has a role in helping our schools succeed.

What is the answer to fixing Texas public education? I don’t believe anyone has the complete answer yet. But one thing is clear: education is changing, and our public schools must evolve with it.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

Texas public school districts currently collect approximately $42 billion annually through property taxes.

With massive data centers and artificial-intelligence facilities moving into Texas using enormous amounts of electricity/water and receiving significant tax incentives, should Texas require these companies to contribute directly toward funding our public schools?

Imagine replacing the school portion of Texans’ property-tax bills by requiring the data-center industry to contribute the approximately $42 billion needed annually for public education.

This could:

✅ Significantly reduce homeowners’ property-tax bills
✅ Provide dependable funding for teachers and classrooms
✅ Require billion-dollar technology companies to invest in Texas communities
✅ Allow homeowners and small businesses to keep more of their money
✅ Potentially stimulate additional spending and economic growth

Should Texas pursue this idea? Would you support requiring large data centers to help replace school property taxes?

Let’s have this discussion, share in the comments!
