Today, our members completed Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) training to keep our skills sharp and ensure the highest safety standards when responding to calls.
We kicked off the morning in the classroom focusing on vehicle dynamics, safety protocols, and defensive driving techniques. In the afternoon, our drivers took to the wheel to navigate the practical road course, maneuvering tight spaces and precision driving challenges.
A huge thank you to Chenango-Bridge Fire-Company for generously letting us use their traffic cones, and to Port Crane Fire Company Inc. for providing their parking lot to host our practical training course. We truly appreciate the strong partnership and support from our neighboring agencies!
Great job to everyone who participated!
