🚨 GRAND OPENING ALERT! 🚨

We’re proud to announce the official grand opening of the expanded Raceway Gas Station on Highway 79, now featuring brand-new diesel filling stations to better serve the contractors, vendors, and industrial drivers who fuel Tarrant’s economy.

First and foremost, we want to thank RaceTrac Inc. and Gohawn Enterprises Inc. for bringing this important project to our City. Your investment in Tarrant helps us grow stronger, smarter, and more connected to the needs of the hardworking people who keep this city moving.

This expansion wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership and determination of Mayor Newton’s administration — including:

🔹 Deputy Mayor Lisa Baker – whose steady leadership guided this project from day one
🔹 Chris Muir, Building Inspections – for ensuring every detail met city codes and standards
🔹 Fire Chief Patrick Bennett – for working closely with the team to ensure safety throughout the process

Over the past 18 months, this team worked hand-in-hand with RaceTrac and Gohawn to make sure everything was done right — and today, Mayor Newton proudly presented Gohawn Enterprises with the Certificate of Occupancy, officially opening the diesel station to the public.
