Last night, I attended the NYC book launch of Dr. Stacey Patton's new book, "Strung Up: How White America Learned to Lynch Black Children." Powerful conversation and book that takes an honest and real look at why and how this evilness happens. Just powerful! Please purchase this book!

Attended the 41st annual Printers Row Lit Fest this weekend in Chicago and had an opportunity to meet with some awesome Black authors and was also gifted a book, "Exploring All I Can Do: Triathlon" by Nia Obotette for the Good Trouble Little Free Library. I will be highlighting some of the authors I met throughout the week. Great event - it's the largest literary festival in the Midwest.

Stop by Maolis Avenue between Clinton and Thomas Streets in Bloomfield to pick up this children's book or to take or share another book!
