🚚📚⛳ What a Saturday for the Traveling Library!

Saturday was a busy one, with our team out and about across the community!

🚒 We had a great time at Touch a Truck at Rohrbach's Farm Market, Bakery and Barn Loft, hosted in partnership with the Bloomsburg Children's Museum! Families had the chance to climb aboard, explore the bookmobile, and see how we bring the library on the road. A huge thank you to Mr. Ammon and Delaney for helping us staff the ship and welcome everyone aboard! 🚢📚

⛳ At the same time, we were teeing off at our 5th Annual Traveling Library Golf Tournament, where we raised almost $6,500 to support the programs and services of the Columbia County Traveling Library!

We are incredibly grateful to the volunteers, committee members, sponsors, golfers, donors, and everyone who participated for making the tournament—and the entire day—such a success. Events like these remind us just how lucky we are to have a community that shows up for its library. ❤️

From trucks and books to birdies and bogeys, it was one busy Saturday—and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Our goal is to raise $6,500 before November 1st to replace our worn-out cardboard boxes with heavy-duty, reusable storage containers that will make storing, moving, and setting up thousands of donated books safer and easier for our volunteers.
