I am pleased to announce that I am running for the open US Congress seat in my home town of Andover. I see a pivotal moment upon us.
I've been serving at the local level, as you know, and training folks to lead in their communities, all over the country. I am excited to bring this local and national movement building work to the next level. We can choose to reinvest in our economy from the bottom up, focusing on the middle working classes. We can choose to stand with the most vulnerable members of our communities. We can demand
We must strategize carefully and compassionately towards a new deal for America and it's marginalized communities. We must be vigilant, as democracies can become fragile when tyrants leverage unrest and militarized responses for their own ends.

Inspiring gathering of 2,600+ strong tonight at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC), at which spiritual leaders from across the Greater Boston area spoke about the importance of listening, learning, and loving one another during this time of national transition. I'm thankful to The Greater Boston Interfaith Organization for organizing the event and being an example of dignity and diligence for all of us.
I'm proud to be signing their Interreligious Statement, which will be widely shared soon.

Friends and neighbors, as you may have heard and seen on the news, there was a 10-alarm fire in East Cambridge this afternoon that displaced many families and required the brave help of our firefighters, policemen and women, and emergency responders.
