A few of our Rotarians attended the Celebrate with South Hills Interfaith Movement - SHIM event. What an inspiring program and an incredible organization to support within our community!
Our members strive to live up to Rotary's motto "Service above Self".
The members of our Rotary Club have been making a difference in the lives of our community and the world since 1952 while socializing, building relationships, yet having fun. There is a second motto in Rotary that is not quoted as frequently "They profit most who serve best". If you would like to learn more about the requirements for membership or to be a guest speaker at one of our Thursday lunch meetings please e-mail me at [email protected] or call 412-722-3102.

What an amazing night of trivia! A huge thank you to all our participants for taking on the challenge of being smarter than the MC, to our sponsors for their incredible support, and to our Rotarians whose hard work made this such a fun and successful event for everyone!

Such a great annual project by the Chartiers Valley School District Interact Club. Grateful for the opportunity to support their efforts and the positive impact they continue to make in the community!
The Interact Club recently completed their Project Linus service project. With the generosity of Bridgeville Rotary, they made 20 blankets that will be donated to children in the United States, who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need.

For the past several years, our Rotary Club has been proud to partner with Chartiers Valley School District and South Fayette Township School District to recognize students who go above and beyond in their schools and communities.
Each month, the schools identify students who stand out for their effort, leadership, and character. Then once each quarter, we host a lunch to celebrate them. During the event, school leaders share more about the students, what they have accomplished, and why they were selected for this recognition.
Congratulations to these outstanding Students of the Month for November, December, and January! We are always impressed by the character and accomplishments of these young leaders!

The Bridgeville-South Fayette Rotary Club has donated a $6,900 picnic table with a solar-powered charging station for Morgan Park in South Fayette Township.
Parks and recreation director Paula Wills, left, thanked Rotary president Bill Paviol this fall. The gift was funded by the club's charitable dollars and the Rotary International Foundation.
"We're always happy to keep our donations local," Paviol said.
The table has benches, a space for a wheelchair and an umbrella-shaped shade structure with solar panels that power plugs and a wireless smartphone charging station. Similar tables are located at the splash pad in Fairview Park.

Proud of the Chartiers Valley Interact group for their amazing effort. A perfect example of young leaders living the Rotary spirit!
Interact Club completed the annual fall food drive to benefit the Bridgeville Community Food Bank. Thanks to everyone’s generous donations, nearly 600 nonperishable items were collected. The food will be distributed this weekend to approximately 100 families in the community.

Update with winners!
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the chili cookers who made this year’s event a great success, despite the unexpected weather and last-minute venue change! It was a truly exciting day, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our volunteers, including the dedicated cooks, our fellow Rotarians, and especially the Boy Scouts.
We’ve received many inquiries about the winners, and we’re excited to share the results!
