Yesterday, we came together at City Hall to celebrate our Greek community and raise the Greek flag.

Brockton’s richness comes from the diversity of its people, and today we honored the culture, history, and spirit that connect us all.

On Greek Independence Day, we reflected on Greece’s journey to freedom. Thank you to all who joined us!

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women in our community and across the world.

As a proud City Councilor in Brockton, I am honored to serve alongside so many inspiring women who lead in our neighborhoods, businesses, schools, and homes. Your voices matter. Your work matters. Your leadership matters.

International Women’s Day is not only about recognition — it is about continuing the work to ensure equity, opportunity, and respect for every woman and every girl.

To the women breaking barriers, building families, running businesses, organizing communities, and shaping the next generation: today we celebrate you.

Together, we rise.

Happy Presidents’ Day

This day reminds us that leadership begins with service. At the local level, that means listening, collaborating, and making thoughtful decisions that reflect the needs of our residents.

It was an honor to welcome Cabo Verde’s Prime Minister, José Ulisses Correia e Silva, to the City of Brockton during his official visit to the United States.

As a proud representative of our community, I was grateful to take part in this meaningful gathering alongside local and state leaders, including Mayor Moises Rodrigues, celebrating the strong ties between Cabo Verde and the Cape Verdean diaspora that continues to shape and strengthen our city.

Our conversations reflected the importance of connection, culture, and continued collaboration between our communities — both here in Brockton and across the diaspora.

Moments like this remind us of the power of representation and the impact of staying connected to our roots while working together to build a stronger future for the next generation.
