“I work in a title one school. My students are bright and enthusiastic. They enjoying learning and playing.
Some of the supplies I’m requesting are for choice time.
My students work really hard throughout the school week and have choice time at the end of the week. Choice time is a great time for them to learn through play.
A few projects we work on during the school year are making slime and special keychains.
Students are excited to choose a toy from the treasure chest once they’ve earned enough points.
Please help me give my students experiences and incentives that they deserve.”

We need helpers! Come on Sunday to enjoy the family fun, but the PTA needs help setting up, selling snacks, and running the show.

Activities will include: an obstacle course from Brooklyn Ninja Academy, crafts and temporary tattoos, Archery with Trailblazers, science experiments with Make Chem Possible, and LEGO towers with Brooklyn Click and Connect.

By upgrading our classroom tools, we’re not just keeping up with the times—we’re giving every student a fair shot to succeed and feel confident in their learning.
Our students learn in so many different ways, and having access to online tools helps them explore, create, and learn at their own pace.
Right now, our classroom is working with outdated materials and technology that are slow, unreliable, and often limit what students can actually do. It can be frustrating for them when lessons are interrupted or when they can’t fully participate in activities that should be engaging and interactive.
Chromebooks would make a huge difference. They would give students faster, more reliable access to the resources they need and allow us to support all types of learners—whether they learn best through videos, hands-on activities, or working at their own pace.
