Our school will be closed from April 2 to April 10. We will return to school on Monday, April 13. Enjoy the break!

At Brooklyn's Daily Discovery, we take pride in creating a space where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1st, our school will be celebrating World Autism Acceptance Day.

In our hallways and classrooms, we see firsthand how our diverse community makes us stronger. We believe that every child brings a unique light to our school, and we are so proud to be a place where children of all abilities learn and play side-by-side. To celebrate the beautiful spectrum of students that makes our school family complete, we invite everyone to wear blue tomorrow.

Dear Families,

In honor of Eid Al-Fitr, our school will be closed this Friday, March 20.

We wish all of our families celebrating a day filled with joy, peace, and wonderful memories. As the card says, may your hearts be light and your worries far away!

Our school will be closed February 16th to the 20th for Mid-Winter Recess. We will be back on Monday, February 23rd. We hope you enjoy the break!

Our school will be closed on Monday, January 19th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Our school will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Our school will be closed tomorrow, November 4th for Election Day.

Our school will be closed Tuesday, September 23 and Wednesday, September 24 in observance of Rosh Hashanah. Shanah Tovah to all who celebrate.

We are so excited to see our students on the first day of school, Thursday, September 4th, 2025!

Here's a quick checklist to help you get ready:
✅ Reusable Water Bottle
✅ Backpack (a standard folder should fit inside)
✅ Crib Sheet & Small Blanket
✅ Extra Change of Clothes (please include socks)
✅ Diapers/Pull-ups and Wipes (if necessary)

**For safety reasons, we recommend wearing Velcro sneakers! (if you have them)**
