Want your kiddos to learn about gardening and the environment? The Canarsie library has its own plot at Ponderosa Garden, 664 E 105th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11236. Come garden with us on Tuesday, May 19, from 3-4 p.m. We will be giving away free seedlings while supplies last. This program is designed for children ages 4 and up, and their caregivers.

Today at Saratoga Library, 182 Thomas Boyland Ave. Stop in before 6 for a Stem Kit (featured below) made by Canarsie TRS, Emaliy.

On Wednesday, from 1-2 pm, drop by NHS Brooklyn, 1734 Rockaway Parkway, for free resume and Career help.

From 2 to 3 pm, stop by Sylk Cove and Lounge, 1370 Rockaway Parkway, for a Spring Reset Kit Grab n' Go.

On Thursday, from 3:30 to 4:30, stop by Sylk Cove to decorate a gift for Mother's Day (ages 3-12).

Celebrate Earth Day tomorrow at Ponderosa Garden, 664 East 105th Street, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21. Ruth Wondemu will be teaching children and their families how to make a water bottle planter. We can't wait to garden with you!

We have a full day of mobile Library events this Wednesday from 11-4 pm, we'll be parked outside of McDonalds, 1467 Rockaway Parkway. Return books, get library cards, use computers, and stop at our table to learn about what resources the library can offer you. We will have the Tech Mobile in attendance, along with our Technology Resource Specialist, to assist you with tech learning.

We will also have a seed starter kit giveaway, courtesy of our Teen Librarian.
