At last week's action camp we gathered in community, remembrance, and resistance.

Through song, prayer, and movement, we honored those impacted by ICE, detention, deportation, and the ongoing violence of displacement and separation. We carried their stories with us and recommitted ourselves to the fight for dignity, safety, and liberation for all our people.

We continue this work for those we’ve lost, for those still detained, and for the generations to come. We will keep organizing and disrupting systems that profit from harming our people. This is why we are asking you to join us in boycotting Hilton.

Schools have been severely disrupted by ICE activity with attendance rates dropping across the country. School leaders must protect the young people who are organizing and participating in school walkouts demanding an end to the violence of immigration enforcement.

Today in the DMV, the Break the ICE Machine campaign took our message straight to Hilton’s lobby: stop tucking ICE agents in at night while Black immigrants are being terrorized, detained, and deported.

📢📢We delivered our demands! 🛑⏱️STOP providing accommodation, training and staging spaces to ICE and other federal immigration enforcement agents!!

For months, Noel's life was interrupted by ICE detention. His freedom, livelihood, property, and stability stripped away from him. Across a series of transfers in which authorities were preparing to deport him, ICE stole Noel's phone, wallet, car keys, cash, and gift cards.

Please join us in showing care and love for our comrade, Noel! Our goal is to raise $20,000 to cover Noel's immediate needs: approximately $1,000 to replace the property ICE took, $4,000 in vehicle-related expenses, $14,600 to account for lost income and provide a financial safety net while he restarts his job search, and $400 for essential living costs as he gets back on his feet.

Noel's story is a reminder that immigration enforcement doesn't pause lives — it shatters them.

👉🏾Donate $40 today to contribute as an act of solidarity! If 500 people give $40, we reach our GOAL in 40 days: bit.ly/fundnoel

Haitian TPS has been under attack under the Trump regime! This timeline is an overview of the courts and impacted people fighting back. While the Supreme Court’s decision does not offer permanent immigration protections to Haitians, we hope that they rule in favor of the people and not in favor of a white supremacist regime.

Congress must ACT NOW to pass a Haitian LRIF-style bill that provides permanent immigration protections. BAJI will continue pushing for lasting solutions—not only for Haitian TPS holders, but for ALL Black TPS holders and undocumented folks, because dignity and safety should not come with expiration dates!

On April 29th, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on whether the Trump regime can lawfully terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti and Syria.

Lawyers for Haitian and Syrian TPS holders argued that the Trump regime did not follow required procedure to terminate TPS. For Haiti, lawyers argued that the termination of Haitian TPS is rooted in racial discrimination or “racial animus towards non-white immigrants and bare dislike of Haitians, in particular.”

Hear directly from Rodney Taylor, recently released from ICE detention!!!

After more than a year of detention, medical neglect, and separation from his loved ones, Rodney is finally home—but rebuilding won’t be easy. Once a working barber and provider, he now faces serious physical, emotional, and financial challenges, including ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and the costs of starting over. His family has carried the weight of this fight, and they need community support now more than ever.

Your donation will help cover medical treatment, stable housing, mobility needs, and reliable transportation for him and his family.
