A few weeks ago a huge crew of BNS families descended upon Chuck E. Cheese to raise funds for our school. A fantastic time was had by all! Pizza was eaten, video games were played, cheap prizes (that nobody needs) were acquired. And we came together and raised over $1200! Thank you to the fundraising committee for organizing and to everyone who showed up to support BNS. These events are so important, not just to raise money but also to help build our community.

Looking ahead we have two upcoming fun events that are also school fundraisers. Don’t miss them!

This year marks ten years of our kindergarten classes enjoying Shore School, their guiding study across the school year. As Diane said “Something is always happening at the shore.”

Here are some highlights from a recent trip to Valentino Pier with Doug’s class. This engaged and curious group of kindergarteners got to clean oysters, use binoculars to search for different kinds of boats and create boats of their own using flowers while learning about the wind.

As always, Diane says it perfectly, “There is true magic in witnessing the innate curiosity held by young children who are beginning to understand the whole entire world for the very first time, one small piece at a time.”

Recap of our most attended PTA meeting in 20 years last week on Friday Sept 13th ✨🤓 with over 100 parents showing up with enthusiasm to learn more about how to help support and participate in our BNS community. A HUGE THANK YOU to ALL who managed to show up in person and we miss those of you who intended to but couldn’t make it!
