We’re so grateful to partner with Five Acres Farm to provide our pantry recipients with donated local milk. In May, we served 2,500 half gallons to our neighbors in Brooklyn. This month, we’re projected to hit around 4,500 half gallons. That’s a value of around $30,000! We’re proud to serve fresh, local products at our pantry distributions. We started serving produce a few years ago, and we’re committed to continuing to expand our pantry offerings. Giving out milk is just the first step!

Join us in asking for $100 million by adding your name to the petition linked in our bio.

Eid Mubarak! Last Friday we held a special holiday distribution in advance of Eid at our halal-friendly Kensington stop. In addition to dry goods and produce, we distributed milk, eggs, yogurt, halal chickens, and halal stew beef to 250 households.
A big thank you to Met Council, Halal Food Connections, and Councilmember Shahana Hanif for their support in making this distribution a success.

We were just awarded $20,000 to feed our neighbors in Kensington with local food! Thank you to everyone who voted for us in this cycle of District 39's Participatory Budgeting, and a big big thank you to volunteer, Beth Ruck, who campaigned for the CHiPS project and got the word out about our work in Kensington. Wahoo!
