Yesterday, we had the opportunity to visit Buffalo String Works and reconnect with them as a Live Well Erie partner!

Through music, Buffalo String Works creates opportunities for young people to learn and grow. Their programming makes music education more accessible to youth across our community and helps them foster their own creativity.

Next week, on October 22nd, we are celebrating Lights On Afterschool. This day of advocacy, organized by Afterschool Alliance, celebrates afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities.

Afterschool programs truly make a difference and are proven to support working families, keep children safe, and give youth the opportunities they need to thrive.

We hope that you would join us in sending the message that more kids need quality afterschool programs! If you are interested in learning how you or your community can get involved, please see the link below:

Today, October 12, is World Arthritis Day!
This year’s theme is “Achieve Your Dreams.” It reminds us to support people with arthritis as they work toward their goals.

Arthritis affects people of all ages, even kids. It can cause pain, swelling, and tiredness. You may not see it, but it can make each day hard.

Live Well Erie supports the Arthritis Foundation to connect organizations with resources that help people and families living with arthritis.

Together, we can share hope and help our community.
