The flight crew at Life Net 7-12 in Seneca Falls had the pleasure of having Jordin, RN, from Geneva General Hospital join them for a ride-along!
Jordin got to trade in her ER patient assignment for a little time on the aircraft and see what happens on the other side of the radio. 😎🚁 We always love having healthcare professionals come hang out with our crews and get a firsthand look at the flight side of things.
But this ride-along was a little more special for one of our crew members.
Just a few weeks ago, Jordin was caring for Flight Nurse/Paramedic Kerry’s 7-year-old daughter in the ER at Geneva General. This time, the roles were reversed just a bit — instead of Kerry’s daughter being in Jordin’s care, Jordin got to come along and spend the day in Kerry’s world.
It’s a pretty cool reminder of how connected our healthcare community really is. Sometimes we’re taking care of your family, sometimes you’re taking care of ours, and sometimes we get to work together in completely different roles.
A huge thank you to Jordin and the entire team at Geneva General Hospital for the work you do for our community and for being such an important part of the EMS and healthcare system we’re all a part of. We appreciate you! 💙
Thanks for hanging with us, Jordin! We hope you had as much fun as we did! 🚁🇺🇸❤️
