Let’s talk about food insecurity!

I led efforts to collect food donations for communities throughout District 3, from unincorporated neighborhoods furthest from opportunity to school micro pantries.

I saw the need, and I took action!

During that time, I also developed a meal kit concept to help families put meals on the table. Those efforts grew as other organizations joined in, expanding their reach throughout District 3.

Serving our community means recognizing a need, bringing people together, and following through. That’s the work I’ve been doing…and not because I’m elected…simply because it was the right thing to do!

🚌 National School Bus Safety Week is observed each year during the third full week of October and serves as an important reminder that keeping students safe is a shared responsibility. More than 25 million children ride school buses to and from school each year, making school buses an essential part of our communities. While school buses are among the safest vehicles on the road, accidents can still happen. Drivers are reminded to slow down, stay alert, obey traffic laws, and always stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended. Let’s work together to make sure every student gets to and from school safely.

Remember: voter intimidation is real, and so is bribery at the polls! Whether it’s a candidate or someone acting on their behalf, no one should pressure you, threaten you, or offer you anything in exchange for your vote.

Stay alert, stay focused, and don’t be fooled. Your vote is YOUR choice! If you experience intimidation or suspect bribery, notify an election judge immediately.

Men can get breast cancer, too. Everyone should know what’s normal for their body and speak with a healthcare provider about any breast or chest changes.

Consider voting early so you can make time for your health and your voice. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other!
