The primary election is behind us, and it’s time to start cleaning up campaign signs!
If you have a Walker for Canyon County Coroner yard sign in your yard, please remove it as well. You can text at 208-513-8621 and I’ll gladly arrange pickup.
These signs are reusable, and helping clean them up quickly helps keep our community looking its best and respectful of local sign ordinances. Thank you to everyone who displayed a sign, volunteered, shared posts, donated, prayed for our family, or simply took the time to talk with me during this campaign. The support truly meant more than you know.

To everyone who voted for me, supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, shared my posts, asked thoughtful questions, or simply believed in what this campaign stood for.. thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
While we did not win this election, I truly feel proud of what this campaign accomplished.
Running for Canyon County Coroner was never about a title for me. It was about standing up for the people behind the scenes, the deputy coroners, first responders, grieving families, and community members who deserve transparency, compassion, professionalism, and better support from the systems serving them.
Over the past several months, I have met some of the most incredible people throughout this community. I have listened to families share deeply personal stories, connected with first responders and healthcare workers, and had meaningful conversations with people who simply wanted better for Canyon County. Those conversations changed me, and I will carry them with me forever.
Most importantly, I am proud of myself for having the courage to step outside my comfort zone and run. That alone is something no one can take away. And while I may not have won the election, I do believe this campaign already created positive change and for that, I consider it a win.
At the most recent coroner budget hearing last week, discussions began surrounding increased advocacy for deputy coroners, including conversations about moving them up a pay grade and implementing peer support programs. Something that had never been advocated for before. That mattered deeply to me because I was one of those deputies… working long hours, carrying difficult scenes and heavy emotional burdens, often with little support and limited resources from leadership.
My goal has always been to improve the working conditions and retention of deputy coroners so families receive the thorough, timely, compassionate death investigations they deserve. When deputies are overworked, understaffed, and constantly leaving the profession, families ultimately experience the gaps in service. These are conversations that needed to happen, and I am proud this campaign helped bring them to light.
To the other candidates who stepped forward and put themselves out there publicly.. thank you. Running for office takes courage, vulnerability, and sacrifice, and I respect every person willing to serve their community in that capacity.
I want to congratulate Coroner Crawford on her reelection and wish her and the entire office the best moving forward as they continue serving Canyon County families and our first responder community.
Above all else, I am thankful to God, my family, my friends, my coworkers, and this community for supporting me through this journey. No matter what, my heart for service, advocacy, and this community will remain the same.

“Don’t forget to vote for my mom tomorrow!!”
My campaign managers are getting pretty serious about Election Day. 😂🇺🇸
They’ve reminded approximately 47 people today to “vote for my mom,” accepted payment exclusively in snacks, and honestly might be running the strongest grassroots campaign in Canyon County. I want my children to grow up in a community that values compassion, accountability, transparency, and service to others. A community where people stand up for what is right, ask questions, and work to make things better for the next generation.
So tomorrow, don’t forget to vote. 🇺🇸

I was on call working my full-time job in organ, eye, and tissue donation over the weekend and didn’t get to join the festivities of the Nampa Parade America but was glad to get serve families when they need it most. 💙
Tuesday is Election Day, so if you haven’t voted yet, don’t forget to get out there and make your voice heard.

I would be honored to earn your vote for Canyon County Coroner. Early voting is open, and election day is May 19th.
My hope is that this campaign has encouraged people to start asking questions. Why are families waiting so long for answers? Why is there so little transparency and public outreach? Why are deputy coroners continuing to leave the office, and why has that trend been an issue since 2020? Why, despite significant county investment into a pathologist are families still struggling to receive the level of communication, timeliness, and service this community deserves? Why are modern accreditation standards and continued professional education not pursued? And what should we expect from a coroner’s office serving a rapidly growing community?
Canyon County deserves a coroner’s office that is visible, accountable, compassionate, transparent, and committed to modern professional standards. An office that supports its investigators, works alongside first responders and healthcare agencies, and provides families with the communication, dignity, and answers they deserve.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmothers, bonus moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, and mother figures who pour so much love into their families and communities every single day. Your strength, sacrifice, compassion, and guidance help shape the lives of those around you in ways that often go unseen.
Today can also be a difficult day for many. My heart is with those spending Mother’s Day missing their mom, grieving the loss of a child, longing to become a mother, navigating estrangement, or carrying silent heartbreak. Grief and love often go hand in hand, and for many, today is a reminder of someone deeply missed. No matter what this day looks like for you, I hope you know you are seen, valued, and not alone. Wishing peace, comfort, and love to all throughout Canyon County and beyond today.
I’m incredibly thankful to get to spend the day with my boys at Ste Chapelle 🌸❤️
I just want to say thank you to everyone who has already gotten out to vote and to those who have shared that they voted for me. Seeing your posts, messages, photos, and support throughout this process has truly meant so much to me.
Our community deserves an office that is compassionate to families, accountable and present to the public, supportive of its staff, and committed to professional death investigation standards.
Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and standing beside me throughout this journey. Every conversation, share, recommendation, and vote truly matters more than you know.
My FAQ page on my website is officially LIVE.
There is a lot of information to go through regarding the Canyon County Coroner’s Office, Idaho’s death investigation system, forensic standards, public health, fiscal responsibility, and where I believe our county should be moving forward.
I know some of these topics are complex, so over the weekend I’ll also be posting short videos breaking down these issues in a more direct and understandable way for the community.
Transparency matters to me, and I believe the public deserves access to information, data, and honest conversations about how the coroner’s office operates and why these investigations matter to both the living and the deceased.
You can read the FAQ page here:

I’ll also be dropping some resources in the comments for anyone who wants to dive deeper into Idaho’s current coroner system, statewide reports, and forensic standards.
Over the past several weeks of door knocking, community events, forums, and conversations with citizens across Canyon County, I’ve been asked a lot of thoughtful questions about the coroner’s office, death investigations, public health, budgets, forensic standards, and what improvements I believe are needed moving forward.
Since there are currently no additional public forums scheduled, I wanted to continue those conversations here.
I’ll be posting a Q&A series covering many of the questions I’ve been hearing most often from community members and voters throughout the county.
Some of the topics will include:
• forensic standards and accreditation
• public health and overdose prevention
• autopsy rates and investigations
• fiscal responsibility and budget oversight
• deputy coroner support and retention
• transparency and accountability
• modernization of the coroner system
• collaboration with first responders and healthcare partners
I believe informed communities build stronger public service systems, and I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to ask questions, share concerns, and engage in respectful conversations throughout this campaign.
Stay tuned.
