All checked in for the Marche International de Diekirch (MID). Not much to it and parking wasn't really as bad as I expected. So far, all good things!
Tomorrow at 0700 l'Il be marching with (I assume 100s to 1000s) of people from around the world to honor the liberation of Luxembourg from N**i forces during WW2.
There are many distance you can choose from, the longest being 40km each day, for two days. I'm also going to carry my Ocrossfirepacks ruck with me. You don't have to carry a bag, but I think that's the best way for me to do it. X
Besides the physical challenge and being able to step foot on and see new places, I'm excited to take part in something with historical relevance and purpose. Can't ask for much more than that.
Oh,and getting that see Diekirch March ribbon.
