As this campaign comes to a close, I want to sincerely thank the residents of Baca County for the many conversations we’ve shared over the past several months. I truly appreciated the opportunity to listen to your concerns, hear your ideas, and learn more about the communities we all call home. Those conversations have meant more to me than you know.

I also want to congratulate Tyson Chick on his win and his upcoming role as your next Baca County Commissioner. Serving our county is an important responsibility, and I wish him nothing but success as he takes on that role.

While this wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, I have no regrets. Running this campaign has been an incredible experience, and I’m grateful for every handshake, every conversation, every word of encouragement, and every vote. None of it went unnoticed, and I will always appreciate the faith so many of you placed in me.

Baca County is home, and that doesn’t change because an election is over. I’ll continue to support our communities, our farmers and ranchers, our first responders, and the people who make this county such a special place to live.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you. It has been an honor to earn your support, and I look forward to continuing to serve this community in whatever ways I can.

For 13 years, I’ve worked for the District 2 Road & Bridge Department, spending countless hours maintaining roads, responding to emergencies, and helping keep our county moving. I understands the challenges our communities face because I’ve lived them every day.

I believe in:

Baca County deserves leadership that understands the work because they’ve lived it.

For the last 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving Baca County through the District 2 Road & Bridge Department. I’ve spent my career working on the roads, solving problems, and helping keep our communities moving forward.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a rancher, county employee, taxpayer, neighbor, and someone who believes in common-sense solutions and responsible leadership.

As your District 2 County Commissioner, my priorities are simple:

✔️ Improve roads and infrastructure
✔️ Support agriculture and ranching
✔️ Stand behind our volunteer fire departments and EMS

For the past 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving the people of Baca County through the District 2 Road & Bridge Department.

Those years have given me firsthand experience with the challenges our county faces—from maintaining our roads and infrastructure to understanding the needs of our landowners, ranchers, farmers, and communities. I’ve spent my career working for the people of Baca County, and now I’m asking for the opportunity to serve in a new capacity as your District 2 County Commissioner.

I believe in responsible spending, transparent government, supporting our volunteer fire departments and EMS, protecting private property rights, and preserving the rural way of life that makes Baca County such a special place to call home.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a neighbor, a taxpayer, and someone who has spent the last 13 years working alongside the people of this county.
