Turning Point Action Super Chase with Jane Timken for State Senate and Senator Bernie Moreno! It was wonderful to attend the rally and hear from our hardworking senators. Their messages were uplifting, engaging, and filled with a strong sense of commitment to our community. A great afternoon surrounded by energy, purpose, and dedicated public service.

What a night under the lights!
The Central Catholic High School Crusaders didn’t just show up — they took over the field with a fierce winner‑takes‑all mindset. And they delivered in spectacular fashion, rolling to an unforgettable 49–0 shutout victory over Coventry High School.

From the very first snap, the Crusaders exploded with speed, power, precision, and pure heart. Every play, every drive, every moment reflected a team locked in, hungry, and unstoppable. The energy in the stadium was electric — you could feel the momentum, the confidence, and the unity fueling every step they took.

A dominant performance. A statement win. And a Friday night the Crusader community won’t forget. #77 Eugene, #78 Jacob

St. Joan of Arc Catholic School- Canton was honored to welcome Bishop David J. Bonnar of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown on Friday morning.

It was a privilege to meet with Bishop Bonnar, who graciously appointed me to the Central Catholic High School Board of Directors in June 2026. I m also an Associate and Friends of Canton Central Catholic. A few years ago, Bishop Bonnar also conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation upon my sons, a moment of deep spiritual significance for our family. His visit, marked by a gentle autumn rain, brought a spirit of joy, reverence, and renewed purpose to our school community.

During his pastoral visit, Bishop Bonnar joined the faculty, staff, and students of St. Joan of Arc Catholic School for the celebration of Mass. Following the liturgy, he offered a special blessing
to the students, faculty, staff, parents, and all members of the community present. His words of encouragement and his prayerful presence served as a meaningful reminder of our shared mission in Catholic education and the vital role our schools play in forming young people in faith, character, and service.

We remain deeply grateful for Bishop Bonnar’s leadership, his pastoral care, and his steadfast commitment to strengthening Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Youngstown. It was a
beautiful and uplifting way to conclude the week.

The Western Crusaders came out firing, showcasing talent, speed, and pure heart on a beautiful Wednesday Game Night. The boys battled hard from start to finish, and even though we came up short 8–22 against the Canfield Cardinals, the energy on that field was undeniable.

This game was packed with resilience, hope, determination, and grit
— the kind of effort that defines Crusader football. The scoreboard doesn’t
tell the whole story; their fight, teamwork, and spirit absolutely did.

Proud of these young men and excited for
what’s ahead. #69 Francis

It was one quiet Sunday afternoon in Luanda when my sister Helen, Titus, and I went to visit Grandma Helen and Aunt Deborah. It was wonderful to see both Grandma and Aunt Deborah after such a long time — their familiar warmth and gentle presence filled the home with comfort and joy. As the sun began its gentle descent, casting a soft glow over the house, our visit drew to a peaceful and tender close.

Before we left, I found myself helping Grandma Helen button her beautiful lavender blouse — a simple, loving act of care I didn’t realize was being captured. Even at 96, Grandma is going strong and excellent, her presence radiating the grace, resilience, and quiet dignity that have carried her through nearly a century of life. In that small gesture, there was something profoundly moving — a reminder of the love and strength she has embodied for generations, and the legacy she continues to pass on.

It was an honor to stand alongside my fellow Stark County Republican Women at the Silent Watch, united in showing our veterans that they are not alone in the fight against su***de. Our presence was a solemn reminder of our commitment to those who have served and sacrificed, and of the responsibility we share in supporting their wellbeing.

It is officially fall, and football season is in full swing! Incredible job, Little Crusaders, on a powerful 18–8 win over the Fairless Falcons. What an evening — the sun broke through just long enough to warm the crowd before setting, and the wind rolled in perfectly, lifting our flag with pride. A beautiful night, a strong performance, and outstanding energy from the team and community. #77 Jason
