What if accessibility has been quietly making AI smarter all along?

When AI agents fill out forms or update records, they often rely on the same labeled, structured code built for screen readers. At Sight Tech Global 2026, Jennison Asuncion (LinkedIn), Kristian Burch (Salesforce) and Jutta Treviranus (Inclusive Design Research Centre) come together for “Accessibility is the Blueprint of AI,” a conversation about why accessible code has become the foundation AI depends on.

Moments from PitchAbility 2026! 🚀

Video Description: A photo slideshow recapping PitchAbility 2026 at Vista Center in San Jose on September 25th. The video opens with the PitchAbility logo and the words “Moments From PitchAbility 2026,” then moves through photos from the day — finalists presenting at the podium, judges seated at the front of the auditorium, guests filling the room, and attendees exploring company tables in the exhibit hall. A slide announces GuideDot as the 2026 winner, and the video closes with “See You Next Year at PitchAbility 2027.”

What a day! White Cane Day 2026 brought together white cane users, veterans, community members, and advocates in downtown Palo Alto to celebrate everything the white cane represents: confidence, dignity, and freedom.

We walked together, we heard from incredible speakers including Palo Alto Mayor Vicki Veenker, and thanks to our partnership with Meta, we were able to put free Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses directly into the hands of blind and low-vision veterans.

A huge thank you to Izzy’s Brooklyn Bagels on California Avenue for their generosity as our In-Kind Community Partner. Izzy’s support helped fuel a morning full of energy and connection.

To everyone who showed up, walked, cheered, and celebrated with us: thank you. This is what community looks like.

“You just kind of get hooked.” 💙

We caught up with Bob Geyer at PitchAbility, and he shared what Vista Center has meant to him. Bob first came to Vista in 2005. His sight loss was gradual, and at each step Vista was there with the next level of services he needed. Today he gives back as a volunteer, seven years and counting.

What keeps him here? The community. “You just can’t help but want to reach out and help one another.”

Thank you, Bob, for the kind words about PitchAbility and for showing us what peer support looks like.
