State Senator Gex Williams presented the Carroll County Fiscal Court with a check for $31,145,178 for the rebuilding of the U.S. Highway 42 bridge over the Kentucky River.

This investment will support a vital transportation connection for our residents, businesses, and everyone who travels through Carroll County.

Carroll County is seeking a dependable Part-Time Solid Waste Attendant to work at the Carroll County Road Department dumpsters.

Duties include:
Tracking vouchers and collecting or recording trash disposal fees
Keeping the area clean and picking up litter
Supporting recycling efforts
Performing other related duties as assigned

🏛️ The Carroll County Courthouse is getting closer to the finish line!

Work on the historic courthouse clock tower is nearing completion, with the team focused on wrapping up the final exterior touches.

It’s been exciting to watch this piece of Carroll County history come back together and see the transformation from where the project started to where it is today.

We’re proud to be part of this project alongside Trade31, Stanton Millworks, and everyone who has helped bring this historic landmark back to life.

Another week of progress at the Carroll County Courthouse!

This week’s Buildcam footage shows the clock face being installed, along with prep and priming work taking place on the historic clock tower.

Although you can’t see it all from this view, work is also underway on roofing and corbel installation. The clock and weathervane installation is scheduled to be completed by the end of this week, marking another exciting milestone in the restoration of the historic clock tower!
