This Veterans Day, Let’s Show Our Older Heroes They Are Not Forgotten🇺🇸
Dear Friends of TFM,
Every year on Veterans Day we say the right words. We thank those who served. We post the flags and the hashtags.
But for many of our oldest veterans—the men and women now living in assisted living facilities—those words often feel empty. Too many of them sit quietly through the holiday, wondering if anyone still remembers the sacrifices they made decades ago.
This year, TFM is choosing action over lip service.
We are assembling personal gift bags for older veterans in assisted living. Simple, thoughtful packages filled with comfort items, notes of gratitude, and small reminders that their service still matters. These bags won’t change the world—but they will change one afternoon for someone who gave everything for ours.
