A little booking update for future sessions! 🤍✨

First, thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business and trusts me with your memories. It truly means more than you know!

Moving forward, all session inquiries and booking requests will need to be submitted through my website rather than Facebook messages. My website allows me to keep everything organized in one place, from your initial inquiry to scheduling, contracts, and invoices.

Recently, I’ve had quite a few inquiries that turn into scheduling conversations, date changes or cancellations that never get rescheduled, and invoices that ultimately never get paid or finalized. While I’m always happy to answer questions and help clients plan their sessions, the time spent coordinating dates and preparing bookings is time I also dedicate to my booked clients and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps this business running.

To help everything run more smoothly for everyone, your session will only be considered officially booked once the required booking steps are completed through my website.

I appreciate your understanding as I make this change to protect my time, keep things organized, and continue giving my clients the best experience possible. I can’t wait to keep capturing your beautiful memories! 🤍

The Jackson/Whited family 🤍

Some families hold a special place in your heart, and this one certainly holds a place in mine. Karen is one of the most genuinely good, humble people I’ve ever known. She has a heart that lives and breathes for her family, and I’ve always admired that about her.

Kayla, Brad, and Jaxson have spent so many seasons in front of my camera, and getting invited back year after year—especially into the places they can call home—is something I’ll never take for granted.

This job has given me so much more than photographs. It’s given me relationships, familiar faces, and families I get to watch grow through the years.

I’m endlessly thankful for the people who continue to trust me with their memories. It’s never just a session to me. It’s another little piece of their story that I’m lucky enough to be part of. 🤍

The Pruitts 🤍

Kaitlin, Stephen, Brynleigh, Kasen, and the littlest of them all, Sawyer. 🥹

Some families come into your life as clients and, somewhere along the way, become so much more. I’ve been photographing this beautifully blended family since the very beginning—from engagements and weddings to newborns and all the little chapters in between. At this point, we’re family, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

After four reschedules and just about every obstacle you can imagine, we finally made it happen Friday. We even bumped our session up to beat the rain, and somehow, the skies gave us just enough time. 🤍

I’m so thankful for families who continue to trust me with their memories, for the years of love and laughter we’ve shared, and for the Appalachian mountains we get to call home.

Some photographs capture a season of life. Others remind you just how lucky you are to be part of the story. The Pruitts will always be the latter. ✨

The Flanners 🤍

When Sheena mentioned her and Brandon’s family farm on the mountaintop, I had a feeling it would be special. But when I arrived, I was genuinely speechless. Some of the most breathtaking views of our Appalachian home I’ve ever seen, wrapped in the most beautifully vibrant fall colors.

I found myself leaning into natural, true-to-life edits because nothing needed to be added or taken away from a landscape like that. If anything, this session may have inspired an entirely new creative direction for me. 🍂

And for Bowen, Holden, and Weston? The perfect place to run wild, play, explore, and sneak in all the snuggles with their favorite people.

There’s something about watching a family make memories in a place that means so much to them, with the Appalachian mountains stretching endlessly behind them, that makes photographs feel like so much more than photographs.

The kind of beauty you don’t have to create. Just show up, slow down, and let it be. 🤍

A little family session mixed with a cake smash, and somehow, it all went swimmingly. 🥹

I’ve had the joy of photographing this family through so many milestones, and now sweet Hadley is turning ONE. How is that even possible?!

Kayla and Josh are the kind of parents who make me feel completely at ease, and watching Bryn grow into her role as big sister has been so special. When she told me, “I really love pictures,” I think my heart melted right there on the spot. 🥹🤍

These are the sessions that remind me why I love what I do so much. Getting to watch families grow, document the little in-between moments, and become a small part of their stories is a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

Homecoming 2026 🤍

I’m so lucky, and it always stands firm. 🥹

This year, I got to photograph so many beautiful couples, including my own oldest two and their amazing dates. And somewhere between all the photos, it hit me just how quickly the years have passed.

I’ve watched so many of these kids grow up, and now I’m getting to document their very first high school dances. Meanwhile, my nephew Chanler is celebrating his last Homecoming as a senior. How did we get here already?

Getting to be both the photographer behind the camera and someone who loves these kids beyond it is a privilege I’ll never take for granted. These are the moments that make this job so much more than photographs. 🤍

The Hackworths 🤍

There’s something so special about being welcomed back into a family’s home to document another chapter of their story. This was my second time photographing the Hackworth family at their beautiful home, and I swear Angel’s garden is the kind of magical, whimsical place I dream of creating in my own someday. 🌿

Angel and Travis are parents to four children and grandparents to ten grandchildren, and the love woven throughout this family is something truly special.

As a former preschool teacher, getting to run, play, and laugh alongside little ones will always feel like coming home to a piece of myself. And with a family as lovely as this one, it hardly feels like work at all.

All of it surrounded by the beauty of home, with our Appalachian mountains nearby—a reminder that the sweetest stories are often found right where we belong. 🤍

The Honeycutts 🤍

I’ve been photographing Jordan and Hailey since Hailey’s sophomore prom, and somehow, this past Saturday, I got to photograph the day they finally said I do. It was surreal watching a moment we’ve been heading toward for all these years finally unfold.

They had the most beautiful evening at the lovely Middle Fork Barn, surrounded by the people they love most. Every bit of it felt like them.

But what makes this wedding especially meaningful to me is that somewhere along the way, they stopped being just clients. I’ve photographed both sides of their families and even had the privilege of photographing Jordan’s twin niece and nephew when they were brand new to the world. They took a chance on me years ago, and we built something truly special from it.

That’s my favorite part of this job—not just taking the photographs, but getting to stay long enough to witness the chapters.

I’m so thankful I got to be there for this one. Jordan and Hailey, thank you for trusting me with your love story all these years. 🤍

Abby 🤍

Abby reached out to me just days before her session, and from the moment we started planning, we were talking every single day about how to bring her vision to life. She wanted her favorite books woven throughout her session, little odes to her love of fantasy, and a little Hamilton magic inspired by “Wait For It.”

And somehow, we captured exactly what I hoped we would.

The moving cars rushing behind her while she stood completely still. The quiet magic of her looking out the window with the sunset reflected back. Every detail felt so incredibly Abby.

She was also the kind of client who was down for absolutely anything—including waiting with me for my husband to come rescue me after I lost my keys. 😂 We never found them that night, ended up paying a locksmith to get my things out of the car, and then my 11-year-old found the keys Saturday…right before we were about to have a new one made. Of course. 😂

At this point, I think it’s safe to say losing my keys was worth it for the photographs we created.

Abby, thank you for trusting me with your vision and being willing to chase a little magic with me. This session was truly one I won’t forget. 🤍✨
