FTY Thursday Loops kick off this thursday. our first weekly loop walk at Mayapple Loop, South Mountain Reservation. free. all levels. afternoon and evening slots. poll is live in the GroupMe now — vote for your time.
and saturday we close out may strong. Lenape Trail Hike III. 7 to 9 miles. our furthest yet. Mayapple Hill Trailhead. 8:30am.

saturdays in may — Lenape Trail. Mayapple Hill Trailhead. 8:30am.
may 16 — 3 to 4 miles. beginner friendly.
may 23 — 5 to 6 miles. intermediate.
may 30 — 7 to 9 miles. advanced.
pay what you feel. suggested $5–$15. come either way.

we didn’t plan this.

what started as an escape from a covid lockdown turned into something none of us expected — trails became therapy, strangers became friends, and people started tapping into something they forgot they had.

their inner child.

hwc was never just hiking. it was peace of mind. togetherness. learning. trying something new. leaving the trail better than you came — and maybe with a new friend.

but cassou always believed one thing.

everyone deserves to lead.

not just the experienced ones. not just the fearless ones. everyone. your first hike or your tenth — you will be taught, encouraged, and trusted to step in front.

so hwc is evolving.

FTY — farther than yesterday — was born from that belief. it’s not just a hike. it’s a mindset. it’s a motto. it’s taking action.

what started with one will become many.
because behind every “hiking with...” is a leader’s name.
