Please help us congratulate our Veterans Chapter on all of their accomplishments this weekend!
Chapter 240 continues to set the standard for service, leadership, and commitment to our veterans, their families, and the communities we serve.
We are especially proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our comrades at the recent convention. Comrade Cassandra Mathis was elected Secretary of the Womenβs Veterans Coalition, and Comrade Troy Bacon was appointed Officer of the Dayβboth well-deserved recognitions of their dedication and service.
We are also honored to recognize Comrade Ramona Ross-Bacon, who was elected Senior Vice Commander of the DAV Department of Texas. This achievement reflects her unwavering commitment to veteransβ advocacy, servant leadership, and the mission of Disabled American Veterans across the state of Texas.
In addition, Chapter 240 was honored to receive the Frank Webb Membership Award for the fifth consecutive year, a testament to our continued focus on growth and engagement. We were also recognized with the Local Volunteer Assistance Program (LVAP) Award, and Comrade Timothy Brock received the Individual LVAP Award for his outstanding service and volunteer efforts.
These achievements reflect the heart of who we are as a chapter. Our members work tirelessly to advocate for veterans, support military families, and strengthen our local community. While awards are never the reason we serve, it is deeply rewarding to see the hard work, compassion, and dedication of our comrades recognized.
The results speak for themselves. Chapter 240 remains committed to making a difference one veteran, one family, and one community at a time.
Congratulations to all of our award recipients, elected leaders, and dedicated volunteers. Together, we continue to prove that service is not just what we do it is who we are.π«‘
