🔥 BURN BAN REMINDER — CADDO COUNTY 🔥

Although we have received some much-needed rain recently, Caddo County remains under a burn ban.

The burn ban applies to all outdoor burning, including:
• Burning trash or leaves
• Outdoor fire pits and recreational fires
• Brush or debris burning
• Any other outdoor/open burning

Please do not assume that recent rainfall means burning is safe or permitted. Conditions can change quickly, and fires can spread unexpectedly.

We ask everyone to please follow the burn ban and help protect our communities, homes, property, and firefighters.

Thank you for doing your part to keep Caddo County safe.

🚒 CEMENT FIRE DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD HANDS! 🚒

Cement Fire Department has been busy lately, answering calls not only in Cement but all across SW Oklahoma . We’re proud to have a great group of guys who show up, work hard, and look out for each other and the people we serve.

We’re looking for 2–3 hard-working people who have a selfless attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.

🔥 No experience required!
We’ll teach you what you need to know. What matters most is your willingness to learn, show up, work hard, and be there when your community needs you.

Being a volunteer firefighter isn’t always easy. It can be long, hot, dirty, and sometimes difficult. But it’s also one of the most rewarding things you can do. You get the opportunity to help people on some of their worst days and be part of a team that makes a difference.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the time.

📍 Applications are available at Cement City Hall.

We’re not looking for a bunch of people — we’re looking for 2–3 good hands who are ready to work. Must live within 10 miles of the fire department.

🚒 Come be part of the Cement Fire Department.
Serve your community. Help your neighbors. Be part of the team. Message us for more information or dates on meeting nights.

More pictures from the Gracemont fire. We have guys working through the night up there, if you could send up some prayers before bed that would be appreciated.

09/15/2026

We sent two crews to the Gracemont fire yesterday, one on days and one over night. Thank you guys for your service and willing to travel to help others in need.

Please stay weather aware and be very cautious when doing any outside work until conditions improve.
