Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

For children who have experienced trauma, healing can look like building trust, learning to express emotions, and feeling safe again.

This Mental Health Month, we’re highlighting the importance of trauma-informed care and compassionate support.

If your family needs support, help is available.

Reaching out is a strong and important first step.

Visit ChatCollaborative.org to find hope and healing that fits your child’s needs.

Pinwheels mean, it’s officially Child Abuse Prevention Month!

Today, Pats Place staff and our incredible agency partners came together to plant pinwheels in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Each pinwheel represents the whimsy, joy, and carefree spirit that every child deserves throughout their childhood. It’s a simple symbol with a powerful message: all children deserve to grow up safe, supported, and surrounded by hope.

We’re proud to stand together as a community committed to protecting children. Because the truth is—everyone can be a hero in the life of a child. If you see something, say something. Your voice could make all the difference.

💙 April is Child Abuse Prevention Month 💙

Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported—and the truth is, everyone has the power to make that happen.

Whether you are a parent, teacher, coach, neighbor, family member, or friend—you have the power to be a hero in the life of a child.

You don’t need a cape to be a hero.

A kind word.
A listening ear.
A moment of patience.
A willingness to speak up.

These small actions can change a child’s story.

This month, we invite you to stand with us in creating a community where children are protected, believed, and empowered to heal.

Because everyone can be a hero in the life of a child.
