Long Post Alert!!

I want to thank everyone for the prayers and support during my campaign. Although I am clearly disappointed that many people only vote along political lines, I am grateful for the following:
1. I know all things work together for my good because I love Him and am called according to His purpose.
2. I met Republicans who voted for a Democrat for the first time because they took a few minutes to speak with me.
3. A woman who was a MAGA Republican voted for me and was moved to tears by my years of service. We hugged at the polls and she made all of the long hours on asphalt worth the effort. She saw beyond party and saw the God I serve in action.
4. A woman read what I wrote for the Lincoln Herald and voted for me because of my faith and service.
5. I had a wonderful watch party with friends new and old at the Wine Collective in Kings Mountain! I was in a great space, with friends and family. We had awesome food and mocktails! Y'all check it out, Mary and Chris are the BOMB!!

As a reflect on the money, time and energy spent, it was worth the sacrifice to let my my Little Light Shine in the midst of political turmoil.
May we remember Jesus didn't die for a political party, He died for people. I'm a proud Christian who happens to be a Democrat who still believes God is the greatest power. Despite what the future holds, I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY FUTURE!!

Today I canvassed in Shelby, met people at Shelby Pride and finished my day talking to people at the KM Mountaineer Festival! ! !

I am thankful that Adrienne could be my surrogate Thursday! I'm told she did an excellent job explaining why Cleveland and Lincoln Counties should keep me on the bench! To explain the confusion I included the picture of us from the September Community Event at Shiloh. !
