A Son's Suffering, A Mother's Love

33 years ago on this date, at the age of 16, I was admitted into Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital for a biopsy of a tumor on my left knee-thigh area. I was awakened by my mother to discover I had Osteogenic Sarcoma (Bone Cancer). That day was a game changer...it was a difficult journey for approximately 3 years, a struggle (Jihad), and a test of our faith. Thank The Creator for His Mercy, Grace, Healing, Protection, Love, Peace, Goodness, Blessings...Thank The Creator for wonderful family, Friends, doctors, school officials, persons I didn’t know, etc. The Creator says in The Holy Quran, “Do people think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah certainly knows those who are true from those who are false.” The Creator also says in the Holy Quran, “Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.” Ameen, Surely Allah speaks The Truth. This is me before and after treatment. Peace
