The Relatives is a system of resources that guides youth and young adults to safety and independence
The mission of The Relatives is to keep kids safe, families together, and prepare youth and young adults to be healthy, productive, and engaged members of the community. The Relatives serves young people who are experiencing crises due to homelessness and family discord, as well as those who have aged out of our public systems and lack the skills and support necessary to function as independent and productive adults.

Today, we say farewell to long-time Relative, Mrs. Genine Donovan🥹❤️💙
For nearly a decade, she has poured her heart into serving our young people — beginning her journey as a volunteer and growing into the role of Program Manager at On Ramp Resource Center.
Her grace, compassion, and unwavering dedication have left a lasting impact on the young adults we serve and on every member of our program team.

Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation—especially for youth experiencing homelessness or in crisis. Every day, young people navigate trauma, uncertainty, and survival without the stability they deserve. At this intersection, mental health support is essential. 💚
We are proud to have counselors accessible to our young people at both the Crisis Center and On Ramp Resource Center. Mr. Battle, who works with the young adults at the resource center, reminds us and them that it is important to be kind to our minds.
