A few images of Beattys Ford Park Beach and the impact the current drought is having on the water levels. Despite the recent rain, the water level is too low to safely use and will remain closed until conditions improve.
Because of the Stage 2 Drought Restrictions the splash pads at Beattys Ford Park and West Lincoln Park will not open Memorial Day. Lincoln County Parks and Recreation is monitoring drought conditions with Public Utilities and will assess when the beach is safe to open, and when we can welcome families back to the splash pads.

Lincoln County offices will be closed Monday May 25th in honor of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
Convenience sites and landfill will be open.
Please join Lincoln County Veterans Services for a Memorial Day Ceremony at American Legion Post 30. We had hoped to host it at the Historic Courthouse but due to possible inclement weather it was decided to move the ceremony indoors.

Update Thursday May 21st:
The opening of the splash pads at Beattys Ford Park and West Lincoln Park has been delayed until further notice due to ongoing drought conditions. With rain in the forecast, we hope that conditions improve in our area. Please stay tuned here and on the county website for future updates on opening day and hours of operation.
The swim beach area at Beattys Ford Park will also remain closed due to low lake levels. Once lake levels improve, we will get the beach opened as well.

During Monday's meeting, Board of Commissioners recognized the efforts of Lincoln County's Public Works professionals. Although most of the time unseen, these men and women are responsible for making sure our solid waste, water supply, water treatment and infrastructure run smoothly including during winter storms!
