This year the Young Democrats of North Carolina have jumped into the municipal elections with much excitement. Our Dogwood Program seeks the channel the grassroots energy of our members by providing financial, logistical, and training support. However the centerpiece of the program is the Dogwood Corps: paid organizers working to help elect YDs as well as general GOTV efforts.

This year is the crucial kickoff of a program that we want to expand and strengthen going into the 2022 midterms. Will you be a part of making this starting year a success?

Was delighted to attend the first in person meeting of YDRC! Having representation in communities all across this state is important and so I'm pumped to see what this chapter can achieve in Rutherford as they grow.

Did you know that the Young Democrats of North Carolina was the founding chapter of the Young Democrats of America? YDNC's first president, Tyre Taylor, led the effort to organize nationally and became YDA's first President.

This year the national convention is being held in Cincinnati, Ohio (my birth state 😎) on August 11th-14th. My Executive Board has worked hard to rally our membership for this great opportunity and we're excited to be taking a full delegation this year. We're pumped, but we need your help.

We want to make sure that economic barriers don't prevent anybody from attending convention, and so I'm asking for your support. With our goal of $10,000 we could fully fund the trip for each of our 27 delegates. Every $250 donation covers the basic costs for one delegate, but every single donation helps us toward our goal.

Let's ensure that The Old North State is represented - let's support our Young Democrats of North Carolina.
