Raising Toys, I need help from my friends to help me obtain funds so I can purchase Toys. I have been Raising Toys for Families and Several Organizations for 32 years it is a far cry when I had 14 extra boxes of Toys, which were given to Bethlehem Center a local organization. They were having their Holiday Party with kids that day.

The past three years has been a challenge to raise Toys or Funds, because of the Virus.
Cost of living and inflation.

Here is something to be scared of if the Republicans take control of the US House of Representatives. They can appoint Donald Trump as Speaker of the House. The Speaker does not need to be an elected member of the House. People need to be asking their US House and Senate Members where they stand putting Trump third in line to the Presidency.

The Herschel Hustle Today: Herschal Walker announced today that he was turned down to being a Rocket Pilot by NASA, even though he once visited Cape Canaveral. Unfortunately, he does not have a College Degree.

If the Right-Wing take over Congress then they can elect the former President as Speaker of the House of Representatives. The Speaker does not have to be an elected member of Congress. SCARY THOUGHT! 2 more years of dysfunctional Government.

3. Refused to help the Build Back Better Plan
4. Lower Taxes for the wealthy again
5. Senator Tim Scott wants to charge income taxes to the lowest paid Americans even those below the Poverty Line.

It is sad the Reboulicans gave the largest Tax break to the Wealthiest Americans and they want to do another tax break for them.
Each day I will be adding more things they want to do if elected.

I have been sitting at my computer working on my current project when a story flashed up about the latest emails, text messages and call logs were released about January 6, 2021.
It sent shivers down my back as I thought what would have happened had the January 6, 2021, event ended differently. There would have been elected officials killed and the hanging of Vice President Pence.
Trump would immediately declare martial law and request the military to take control of major cities. Starting with the media outlets but limiting their access to the government and putting them in jail under trumped up charges of breaking rules about military or political secretes.
He would hire Sean Hannity as Press Secretary, Stephen Miller will become Propaganda Specialist, Tucker becomes Chief Liar specialist. Trump’s Golfing buddy Senator Linsday will become Vice-Dictator.
I am disappointed people are not as scared as I am about our democracy. People should be afraid of the REPUBLICAN PARTY It is shameful how little people care about our Democracy. I think about being under the Trump Dictatorship his lack of leadership, but desire of POWER.
What people do not seem to understand is what it would really mean to have to fight for our freedom.
Stop the Steal should have been the chat of millions of Americans to the REPUBULICAN PARTY.
Yes, the REPUBULICAN Party who still think the election was stolen and now have the shortest memories they cannot remember what was wrong on January 6, 2021. It surprised me the Congressional Woman I watched could not even recall her name. Since she cannot remember it I refuse to tell her name.
The Civil War was an example of what would have happened had Congress changed the votes. The Civil War in this country’s history of fighting for what people believe in something so strongly they take-up arms.

Would the military take up arms against fellow Americans could they stand in the street to create a police state not to protect but to deny Americans their rights.
We came close to losing what Americans has to offer our Democracy. Every American who served in the military or served in public office. Swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States. Those January 6, 2021, military personnel and police officers and any Veterans on Disability or on retirement need to lose those benefits. They tried to take overthrow the United States by force.
What happens to the United States Dictator Trump calls Putin to help learn the next steps in being a Dictator and he asks for help to control the country. There will be camps throughout the country for people who speak out against the REPUBLICAN PARTY or the Dictator Trump.
You will lose your rights to free honest elections even stronger voting restrictions for minority voters and the most gifted personal right the right to speak freely. To stand on a soapbox and speak your mind.
Doctors who perform illegal abortions will be arrested and sent to prison. Women having the abortions will be scared with something like the Scarlet “A.” Neighbors will turn in neighbors for money or other gifts.
We will be monitored by our neighbors and reported to the new special political police. Anyone who speaks against the Dictatorship could be imprisoned for years.
The wealthy will take control of Congress and get whatever they want from the REPUBLICAN PARTY, which has lost all scruples because of the BIG LIE. Soon to be gun token ex-Congressman Cawthorn raised his fist in a fighting position supporting the traitors.
Americans as much as you think the current President has done wrong think what would have happen to the low and middle income if the little Dictator.
The question becomes does the military take orders from the new Dictator or follow the law. It is not a question I want to think about. What would happen if two of the generals back the Trump Dictatorship and two don’t, and would be against it? What happens if Putin starts an attack on the Oath Keeper just to get them to get their guns to attack the government. There will be a national call to arms for all the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, and other Neo-Nazis groups to provide an army for the new little Dictator.
Fighting breaks out in the streets of our cities as the Trump Dictatorship holds on to the Presidency of the United States. I wonder will Americans who oppose this Dictatorship would they take-up arms like the citizens of Ukraine. Will they wake up before Mid-Terms and realize REPUBLICANS are calling for revenge against everyone who spoke out against the Dictator Trump. They have said nothing what will they do for the American People what is their platform other than supporting the little Dictator.
As I pondered all of this, I realized how Dangerous the REBULICAN PARTY has become. They hate the Constitution and worship a Traitor who would be our Dictator.
I wonder if people have really thought about it or even talked about it what would have happened had they succeeded in their efforts on January 6, 2021.
The though so scares me I will never vote for any person who believed in the Big Lie. It will be a long time until I vote for another REPULICAN again.

Dear Fellow Citizens:

The opportunity to run for office is one of the greatest thrills for an American. It allows for any citizen to stand up and speak to their fellow citizens with ideas. It have always been honored to serve the public in both elected and appointed positions. I will continue to serve my fellow citizens on the Mecklenburg County ABC Board and continue working with non-profits. I will work with the Mint Hill Lion’s Club to do another Visually Impaired Day along with other organizations.

I am extremely disappointed for my staff of wonderful people all of them gave their very best to help win the campaign. We started in the heat of July shooting our videos and going door to door. They attended all of our late night meetings and kept me from making major mistakes. Ben, Brad, Carey, Debbi, Dakota, Jack, Joe, Jake, Kyle, Luke, Marion, Michelle, Scott, Steve O, Steve P, Tyler, each of you played an important part in this campaign and I love each of you and I will always be there if your need me.

This campaign has left me in debt $23,341 I broke the one rule in a campaign by putting my own money in a campaign but I believed in the issues and felt it was important for me to try. I had to spend the money to run an effective campaign. To those who contributed to the campaign your support was greatly appreciated.

Sometimes you have to run against all odds such as running in a deeply Republican District but my principles of equal rights for everyone is important and I do not regret running for office and losing because I tried to make a positive change to our community and I would do it again.

My disappointment is to the people and organizations that would not contribute to a campaign that was working to protect our fellow citizen’s rights. If I had a dollar for every time I was told that I had no chance I would not be in debt today. People should look more at the issues the person stands for and represents rather than numbers a great example is President-Elect Trump.

It is important that the public has a choice in an election and those opportunities are fading away. We need independent districts for all political positions to make them fair. The public in District 39 had a choice this time either they favored HB2 or wanted it repealed they made that decision to keep HB2 and for that I am sorry that I disappointed my supporters and the LGBTQ community.

What I will not miss are the calls, comments and letter of hate from some people who do not think Jews have a right to run for office. In all of my years of public life I have never received as much hate as I have during this campaign. Those things will never stop me from speaking out.

Who knows I might run for City Council next year because we still have a HB2 problem.
