This is encouraging news! Although we can't stop here. We have the votes in NC to institute pure backpack funding. The money should follow the student. ALL of it. If a local LEA failed to win a family's business, why should it receive any of the tax money allocated for the student?

Moms For Liberty Carolinas Education Summit
Sponsored by Charlotte Mecklenburg Republican Women and Coalition For Liberty
In keeping with its mission to support the right of all Americans to exercise their freedom of speech, support like-minded grassroots organizations, and return our education system to its classical apolitical roots, the Coalition For Liberty has partnered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Republican Women (CMRW) to cosponsor a Carolinas Education Summit for Moms For Liberty.
The event features keynote speaker Dr. James Lindsay, an American-born author, mathematician, and political commentator. He has written multiple books spanning a range of subjects including religion, the philosophy of science and postmodern theory. He is the co-founder of New Discourses, where he has published numerous articles on such topics as Social Justice, Critical Race Theory, Cultural Marxism, and Woke Politics.
The event will also feature Kenny Xu, author of author of “An Inconvenient Minority”. Mr. Xu is the founder of Color Us United, a group that opposes dividing America by race, religion, sexual orientation or any other characteristic and resists those who divide Americans in the name of “racial equity” - in government, schools, corporations, journalism, or social media.
In addition to the keynote speakers, Kelly Mann of the John Locke Foundation will talk about the resources that the Foundation can provide to grassroots organizations.
We encourage everyone to attend this event.

BIG win today! We are a giant leap closer towards the goal of universal backpack funding. The money should follow the student, whether they go to public, religious, private, tech, or are taught at home. Force public schools to compete and you will see a complete 180 degree turn in the quality of education in this country.
