We’re excited to share that installation of new lighting on the downtown Goat Island pedestrian bridge will take place May 11–15!

During this time, crews will be working daily from approximately 9:00am to 3:00–4:00pm. The bridge and Goat Island will remain OPEN to the public, but we ask everyone to please be mindful of the work taking place.

🔧 What to Expect:
- Workers and equipment on and around the bridge
- Orange cones marking work areas
- Ladders in use throughout the project
- Occasional small debris during installation (please avoid walking barefoot on the bridge)

✅ Crews will clean up the area at the end of each day, and the bridge will be fully open when work is not in progress.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we enhance one of Cramerton’s most iconic spots. The finished lighting will be well worth it!

If you’re visiting Goat Island during this time, please use caution and help us keep everyone safe by giving workers space.

Thank you, Cramerton!
