COUNTDOWN 🇺🇸
I’ve spent my life answering the call to serve.
At 17 years old, I put on a uniform and began a journey that would shape the rest of my life.
Twenty years in the United States Army. Service with the New York State Department of Corrections. Twenty-nine years with the New York State Police, culminating in the honor of serving as Major and Commander of Troop B. And service as a Catholic deacon, walking alongside people through some of life’s most joyful and difficult moments.
Each chapter has reinforced the same belief: leadership is a responsibility to serve others.
Now, I’m asking for the opportunity to bring that lifetime of service to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
Our employees deserve leadership that listens, supports them, sets clear expectations, and holds everyone to the same professional standards.
Our families deserve safe neighborhoods, proactive public safety, and a Sheriff who works with our schools, communities, and law enforcement partners.
People in our custody deserve humane treatment, appropriate care, and safeguards that protect their lives.
And taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and confidence in the agency that serves them.
As Sheriff, I will begin by assessing the current situation and working environment, listening to employees, and reviewing the policies and protocols that guide their work. Where changes are needed, I will make them—and ensure every employee understands the policies, expectations, and responsibilities that follow.
Then I will stay involved. Leadership requires follow-through, every day.
As we approach Election Day, I’m grateful for every conversation, every word of encouragement, and every person who has stood beside me.
I’m ready to bring my experience, my commitment, and my heart to this responsibility.
On November 3, I would appreciate your vote and the opportunity to serve as your next Clinton County Sheriff.
